I created Angelic Organics not as a brand, but as a reclamation.
Like so many of us, I grew up in a world that taught us to hide our hair, silence our textures, and shrink our crowns. My hair was always dry, brittle, breaking—and so was the connection I had with it.

It wasn’t until I did the big chop, with nothing but hope and kitchen ingredients, that I began to truly see myself. I turned to plants, ancestral rituals, and science-backed research to heal my curls—and my spirit. What started as DIY avocado masks and raw aloe became a full-blown obsession with holistic, high-performance hair care.

I became a certified formulator. I studied plant chemistry. I built rituals in my bathroom that felt like spiritual baths. That’s when Angelic Organics was born.

I built Angelic Organics because I didn’t see anything on the shelves that spoke to me—a Black woman with textured hair, high standards, and a desire for ritual.
